Terms of Service

1. About IsleDrive

IsleDrive is an online marketplace that connects travelers with local Bahamian car rental operators and tour providers ("Partners"). IsleDrive does not own, operate, or control any vehicles or tours listed on the platform. We act solely as an intermediary to facilitate bookings between you ("User") and our Partners.

2. User Accounts

To make a booking, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old (or meet the minimum age required by the rental operator)
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Have a valid driver's license (for vehicle rentals)
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@isle-drive.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Bookings & Payments

When you make a booking through IsleDrive:

• You agree to pay the total amount shown at checkout, including all fees and taxes
• Payment is processed securely through our payment provider (PayPal)
• You will receive a confirmation email with booking details
• The rental operator may require a security deposit at pickup
• Additional charges (fuel, tolls, damages) are between you and the operator

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy. Generally, cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup/start time are eligible for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.

5. Vehicle Rental Terms

When renting a vehicle through IsleDrive:

• You must present a valid driver's license and any required identification at pickup
• The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location
• You are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period
• Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as pickup (unless otherwise agreed)
• Report any accidents or damage immediately to the operator
• The operator's rental agreement at pickup is binding

6. Tour Booking Terms

When booking a tour through IsleDrive:

• Arrive at the designated meeting point on time
• Follow all safety instructions provided by the tour operator
• Tours may be subject to weather conditions and minimum participant requirements
• The tour operator reserves the right to refuse service for safety reasons

7. Limitation of Liability

IsleDrive is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for:

• The condition, safety, or legality of vehicles or tours listed
• The actions or omissions of rental operators or tour providers
• Any injury, loss, or damage arising from your rental or tour
• Disputes between you and a Partner (though we will assist in resolution)

Our liability is limited to the fees we collect as a platform. Partners maintain their own insurance and are solely responsible for their services.

8. Disputes

If you have a dispute with a Partner, please contact us at support@isle-drive.com. We will work with both parties to reach a fair resolution. For unresolved disputes, you may use our dispute resolution process available in your account dashboard.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false information or impersonate others
• Circumvent the platform to book directly with Partners found through IsleDrive
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security
• Use vehicles for illegal activities or outside permitted areas

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of The Bahamas.
