Quick Summary
Free cancellation when you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time (for rentals) or tour start time. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
Vehicle Rentals
More than 48 hours before pickup
Full refund. No cancellation fee.
Less than 48 hours before pickup
No refund. The full booking amount will be charged.
No-show
No refund. If you don't pick up the vehicle without cancelling, the full amount is forfeited.
Tours & Activities
More than 48 hours before tour start
Full refund. No cancellation fee.
Less than 48 hours before tour start
No refund. The full booking amount will be charged.
No-show
No refund. If you don't arrive for the tour without cancelling, the full amount is forfeited.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your booking by:
- Logging into your IsleDrive account
- Going to "My Bookings" in your dashboard
- Selecting the booking you want to cancel
- Clicking "Request Cancellation"
You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is processed.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method (PayPal). Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
Modifications
Need to change your booking instead of cancelling? You can request modifications (different dates, times, or duration) through your account dashboard, subject to:
- Availability of the vehicle or tour on the new dates
- Modification requests made more than 48 hours before the original booking
- Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly
Operator Cancellations
In the rare event that a rental operator or tour provider cancels your booking:
- You will receive a full refund
- We will notify you immediately and help find alternative options
- Refunds for operator cancellations are processed within 5-10 business days
Weather & Force Majeure
For tours cancelled due to severe weather or safety concerns by the operator, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. Vehicle rentals are generally not affected by weather, but if unsafe conditions prevent pickup (e.g., hurricane), please contact us to discuss options.
Important Note
The 48-hour cancellation window is based on the local Bahamas time of your scheduled pickup or tour start. We recommend cancelling as early as possible to ensure you qualify for a refund.
